Hi,
I am going to launch a new collection, and want to do a small make over on my site when doing this.
I followed step by step in a Youtube video that I found, making a duplicate, where I do all the changes in without showing it live to my visitors.
Even though I did this - when I hit "save" at the customization page (in the copy) the changes goes live anyway!
What am I doing wrong? I have to hit the save button, or else I can´t leave the page..

Hi!
When you create a duplicate, it will appear below your current live theme, make sure you're editing this one to start.
If you are already doing this, make sure that when you're saving changes on the duplicate theme, you're only clicking 'Save' not 'Publish'. Publishing will push these duplicate theme to become your live theme.
Hi Woody!
Yes, I did both. Still going live. So weird..
That is very strange, could you provide me with your STORE.myshopify.com URL so I can request access and take a look for you, to see what's going on?
You're very welcome!
Hi @_frida,
I'm glad to hear it! Thanks for letting us know and please feel free to reach out once more if the problem occurs again.

Hi @_frida,
You did the right thing here in creating a duplicate version of your theme to make changes in, and as long as you are not making changes to your current published theme, the changes should not go live on the site.
What might be happening here is that you are seeing a live preview of the duplicated theme file and it appears to be the live storefront, but it is in fact just a preview. A good way to check this is to load your site on another device or in a private/ Incognito browser window and to see if the changes you made to the duplicated file are present here. If not, then that indicates that the changes are not live on the site and what you were seeing was a preview of the theme file you were editing.
Please let me know what you see when you check this.
