How can I effectively set up discount prices on my products?

Hi! 

Been experienced some problems making discounts on my products. Right now i have been setting a fixed price for each of my market in their local currency and been trying to setup a discount price, but the price will not change on the site when i make discounts either on different shopify apps or when i set up a compared price in the product settings. 

Is there anyone who has experienced this aswell or knows a solution to it?
