How can I efficiently sell event and workshop tickets on my online store?

Hello,

We are using shopify store to sell events and workshop tickets in addition to regular products. I'm wondering if there is are built-in features or a single app that makes selling events easier on shopify? 

Main features I'm looking for:

• Event products to be automatically taken down after the event has taken place. I currently remove past events manually on a weekly basis (otherwise people can book onto events that have already happened and then I need to refund them).
• Send out auto-generated reminder emails to participants the day of an event, with event time/date/location/description pulled from product info.
• Collect custom information from people at time of booking - but only for certain products (For summer camp we need to gather emergency contact details / allergies for kids)
• An easy way to email folks after an event to let them know thier artwork is ready for pick up (running reports to get emails is a 10 step process, and I find it to be a bit buggy. We use variants for dates for recurring workshops and sometimes the variants don't show up in the report filter drop down menu.)

We've looked into integrating shopify with eventbrite, but there were some concerns over the additional banking and transaction fees that would come from using 2 platforms, plus paying a third party to link them.
