How can I enable 'allow-downloads' in a sandboxed frame?

I am looking for a bit of help on an issue I am coming across

I have added a button the allows the user to download an image but I am encountering the following error

'Download is disallowed. The frame initiating or instantiating the download is sandboxed, but the flag ‘allow-downloads’ is not set.'

Not sure if there is a solution, I have researched as much as I can and it seems to be a security issue with Chrome and maybe Shopify has the same issue?

If not it's back to the drawing board but I thought I would ask before giving up

Scratch that question, I was being stupid and testing just on the editor. When I tried on the published version, no issues.
