How can I enable multicolumn swipe on desktop in the Dawn template?

on the dawn template, there's an easy switch to turn on "swipe on mobile" in the multicolumn section, however i can't figure out how to implement swipe on desktop as well. i'd rather have a tap through/swipe through multicolumn, than 2 photos stacked upon the other 2 i have posted. if this is not possible, is it somehow possible to attach a constant looping slideshow/video in the multicolumn rather than a photo?
