Hi everyone!

Sorry, this has been the 4th time asking but I'm really struggling to find help in adding the "PayPal Pay in 4" function at checkout.

Does someone have a step by step how to enable this in my shopify store?

Unfortunately, no one at all seems to know how to do this, it would be impressive if someone has a step by steps on how to enable it.

I will answer some of the questions people normally ask below,

Hopefully someone will be able to help in adding the function on the site.

  • I am eligible to offer it, I am based in Australia.
  • I know many Australian stores that do offer it.
  • I have PayPal already enabled through my payments.
  • PayPal Pay in 4 isn’t an option in the “Additional payment methods” screen.

These are the development documents, but they don’t cater for Shopify.

Hi folks,

You don't need to do anything on Shopify's end other than having the PayPal Express Checkout gateway enabled. If you are eligible for Pay in 4 you will need to enable this on PayPal's end; this is not something that can be done in the Shopify admin. Once this is done, a customer will see the option to pay in installments when they select PayPal at checkout and are redirected to their PayPal wallet.

Hi @Umair-Abid,

No, it should all work within the PayPal Express Checkout integration.

Hi, @Umair-Abid. Based on your screenshot it appears that PayPal is active. If you want to be sure it's set up correctly I'd recommend speaking to PayPal. They will have more information on the options you're eligible for. Reviewing this guide on setting up PayPal can help as well. The post you shared was a response to someone asking how to add additional text to their store. PayPal will automatically display the messages it's supposed to show, but to display additional messages you would need to customize your online store.
