Hello everyone! I am building a bookstore upon the request of my client, and he wanted to live feed the onix data into the bookstore through ftp. But as Shopify does not give access to ftp, I am finding it difficult to achieve that. I have tried with Matrixify, but it doesn't work that way. Onixedit app seems to be able to do it if I am able to upload the files to it. I have access to the data but I do not have the hard disk space and internet speed to download over 3TB worth of onix data from their ftp server. Is there any way I can transmit data from their ftp server to Shopify?
Do you really need to import all the files? How are the files organized? Is this one file per book or per publisher?
I believe all these files are an entire collection of books from a publisher. The files include data of books such as title, description, cover image, author, pages etc.
Hello,
Same problem here.
Did you find a solution?
I found OnixSuite Bookstore App on Shopify App Store you could look it up.
Also https://www.supadu.com/ has a integration with Shopify API.
