Hi there!

I was trying to work out how to add a sold out overlay to my store and added a bit of code as suggested by a previous question on here.  I don't think it did what I wanted it to now my whole site looks weird!  Can anyone help?

Hey, @Scootagal!

Ash here from the Shopify team. Thank you for posting your question in the Shopify Community!

Unexpected results from a code change can be a bit alarming, but I have a handy tip that should help you get your site back into working order. After customizations are made to certain sections on code in your theme, you'll have the option to roll back those changes, and revert to a previous version of the code. Here's a guide on how to Roll back to an older version of your theme

Additionally, if you plan to make any future code customizations to your theme, a good practice is to duplicate your theme first. This makes a back-up of your theme in the Online Store > Themes section of the admin, and you can always use that if anything goes wrong with your theme that you're unable to rectify.

I hope this helps, and feel free to reply back here to update me on how reverting your theme goes!
