How can I fix SEO issues with duplicate meta descriptions on my collection pages?

please I need help. I have a collection that contains many products to the extent that a second page was created to continue showing the products (having a link as such-- https://example/collections/collectionName?page=2 )

but now, it disturbs the SEO part. because google considers the 2 pages as different ones and since they have the same meta tag and meta description, it is signaling it as an error in SEMrush. 

please can someone propose a solution?

is it possible for the meta description to only apply to the first page of the collection and not the second?
