Hello Everyone,

I have recently put my store live and I indexed it using google search console tool.

When checking through different functions of google console tool. I found some errors.

First in sitemap i see that it shows a error with a submitted sitemap. The error says "Your Sitemap appears to be an HTML page. Please use a supported sitemap format instead". Also strangely this sitemap is also just name a slash like ( / ). Even when I check through google analytics it shows that visitors are landing on this page. It looks like this the destination to the homepage of my website. Can someone help how to resolve this whole issue and change the name of this destination page from (/) to something else. Second there is one more error with another submitted sitemaps. the error her says "We encountered an error while trying to access your Sitemap. Please ensure your Sitemap follows our guidelines and can be accessed at the location you provided and then resubmit." Can someone help me resolve this as well. Attaching a screenshot following below.

Third when i go to coverage I see one more error which "submitted error not found". The link to this URL takes me to a page that I have created but have kept hidden form the store and not linked it anywhere as I am no longer using this page but don't want to delete it. what can be done to resolve this ? Attaching a screenshot following below.

Also does console take time to reflect these internal changes if I have made any ? As I understood that console takes time to reflect the performance of the store.

Some concrete solutions would be very helpful here.

Thanking you all in advance.

Hi @MiteshVadoliya

fist of all I suggest you to fix the sitemap submitted to Google Search Console.

Remove the current sitemap and your store sitemap using the url https://<store_url>/sitemap.xml

In this case looking at your screenshot it seems to be the following: https://shop.innovaflexo.com/sitemap.xml

You can find more information in Shopify Help Center: Finding and submitting your sitemap
