How can I fix the discrepancy in gift card denominations on my website?

I hope this message finds you well. I would like to express my gratitude in advance for your assistance in resolving my query.

I have encountered an issue while creating gift cards as products to sell on my website. Specifically, (I have set different denominations for the gift cards, such as 200 AED), with a price of 150 AED. However, when I conducted a test payment, both the payment amount and the gift card code were 150 AED. This discrepancy has left me puzzled.

It seems as though we are applying a discount, allowing customers to pay less and receive more. However, in this case, it appears that customers are receiving exactly what they pay for.

I hope I have clearly conveyed my question. I kindly request your assistance in resolving this matter.

Thanks for reaching out. Just to confirm, are you trying to sell gift cards for your own store, or for other retailers? Do you want the price of the gift card (as in, what the customer pays) to be less than the amount on the gift card?
