How can I implement guest checkout with SMS OTP verification?

Good morning crowd,

I want to implement guest checkout with SMS OTP verification. 

SCENARIO - at the checkout, after completing the payment guest is asked to enter OTP for verification/future communication/monitor order status etc.

any help on HOW TO would be appreciated.
