Hi Faisal

First thing you can try that is fairly easy is to make sure you resize and compress your images.

A great tool to do that is https://squoosh.app/ (developed by one of the teams behind Google Chrome!)

Once that's done try to load your page again and see if there are any significant improvements.

If not, there are other things to consider like old code left by apps you no longer use.

Hope it helps!

Regards,

Cristian

Hi @Faisal_Munawar,

Thank you for reaching out to the Community! I'm happy to provide some assistance with improving your site speed, to ensure this gets resolved.

While I didn't run into any loading issues with your product pages, you can review the following reasons why customers may be experiencing slow loading times:

  • Too many apps trying to load at one time: The more apps that are running at once, the longer the loading times will be. Determine if you really need all those apps and If you're not using them at all, then you should remove them. I know you mentioned you've recently added some new features, are these with the help of apps?
  • Theme customizations: When you edit or customize themes, file sizes can increase and affect your store speed. If you have a heavily customized theme, this may be something to take into consideration.
  •  Image sizes: As @cristian_dev has mentioned, you can try optimizing the images currently in your shop. The larger the image size and the more videos and slideshows you display, the longer it will take to load. We also have a great blog article with 10 Must Know Image Optimization Tips
  • The end-user/customer browser, device, and internet connection: This is something you won't have control over of course, but it is good to keep in mind.

Additionally, I recommend checking out our Improving Your Online Speed Score document as it touches on a few more tips and suggestions. If you are using a Free Shopify Theme, we may be able to investigate further to provide basic performance improvements. @Faisal_Munawar

You need to work on the following points :

  • Theme Upgrade if there is a scope and upgraded theme available
  • Reduce JS Payload.
  • Use Critical CSS.
  • Replace GIFs With Static Images
  • Reduce Large Image Sizes
  • Migrate Tracking Codes To Google Tag Manager
  • Compress Images
  • Limit Third-Party JavaScript & Shopify Apps
  • Preload Web Fonts.
  • I suggest limiting it to one and using a standard web font.

Theme Upgrade :

Its benefits include improved loading speeds, which can help with both user experience and store conversion rates, and search engine optimization.

Hello @Faisal_Munawar,

This is Gina from flareAI app helping Shopify merchants get $5Million+ in sales from Google Search, on autopilot.

There are several factors that can affect the speed of your Shopify website, and here are a few tips to help you improve your page load speed:

1. Optimize your images
Large image files can slow down your website's loading speed. You can use Shopify apps like Crush.pics or Image Optimizer to compress your images without compromising their quality.

2. Minimize your code
Remove unnecessary code and white space from your HTML, CSS, and JavaScript files to reduce their size and improve your website's loading speed.

3. Limit the number of apps
Too many apps can slow down your website's performance, especially if they're not optimized for speed. Only install the apps that you need and make sure they're updated regularly.

4. Choose a fast theme: Choose a theme that is optimized for speed, and make sure it's compatible with Shopify's latest version. You can use tools like Google PageSpeed Insights or GTmetrix to check your website's speed and identify areas for improvement.

5. Enable lazy loading: This is a technique that loads only the visible content on a page, while deferring the loading of other images and content until they're needed. You can use apps like Lazy Loading Images to enable this feature on your Shopify store.

6. Optimize your website for mobile: With more and more customers shopping on their mobile devices, it's important to ensure that your website is optimized for mobile. Use responsive design, compress your images, and limit the use of pop-ups and other elements that can slow down your website on mobile.

By implementing these tips, you should be able to improve your Shopify website's page load speed and provide a better user experience for your customers.
