Hello Jimodin, Welcome to the Shopify Community,
It's great to hear that you've created your first store in Shopify! I can understand that you are looking to improve the speed of your website.
1. To improve the speed, we can work on optimizing the website code and identifying the major resource hoggers like apps and scripts to find alternatives that can help boost the performance. Additionally, we need to ensure that we are using web-optimized images on the site.
2. Alternatively, we can try tools like websitespeedy.com which appears to be a good solution for a SaaS-based platform to improve the performance. They offer 7 days of trial so you can test it out.
Hope this can help you solve the loading issue
Best regards,
Manshi
Dont use javascript like Website Speedy using.
Google dont like that.
Hey there! It's great to hear that you've set up your first store on Shopify. Don't worry too much about the loading speed just yet – it's a common issue, especially for newcomers.
First off, let's take a closer look. Have you checked the size of your images and files? Large files can really slow things down. You can use online tools like GTmetrix or Google's PageSpeed Insights to analyze your site and get suggestions for improvement.
Also, Shopify has some built-in optimization features you can take advantage of. Look into lazy loading images, minifying CSS and JavaScript, and enabling compression.
If you're still having trouble after that, it might be worth reaching out to Shopify support. They can give you some personalized advice based on your specific situation.
And if you're feeling overwhelmed, don't hesitate getting help from experienced Shopify developers. Speed is a crucial part of your website, and addressing it sooner rather than later can save you headaches down the line.
