@goappsplay1 ,

Hope you are doing well...

I have gone through your store. Your store looks good.

I have checked your site in the lighthouse chrome tool.

3rd party apps & codes which take time to load and their size. They decrease the speed.

Need to work on following points

  • Theme Upgrade if there is a scope and upgraded theme available
  • Reduce JS Payload.
  • Use Critical CSS .
  • Reduce Large Image Sizes
  • Compress Images
  • Limit Third Party JavaScript & Shopify Apps
  • Preload Web Fonts.
  • I would suggest limiting to one and using a standard web font.

See where exactly google speed index tools want you to target your code to optimize the site .

  • By fixing these issues, your website speed score can definitely improve.

And we will provide an assured guarantee plan for the website speed optimization.

Hello @goappsplay1,

By following the below steps, you can significantly speed up your Shopify store:

1. Removing unused app code is a best practice that avoids running code for unused features, and makes your theme code easier to read.
2. Use a theme which is optimized for performance
3. Themes contain CSS, JS, HTML which can increase and affect your store speed. So disable theme features you don't use.
4. Loading extra data your customers aren't using can impact your store speed without adding value.
5. If you are using slideshows, keep slideshows of featured images to 2-3 slides, or use one featured image.
6. Use a System font which is a font that is already installed on most computers. For example: Segoe UI, Times New Roman. If you use a font that does not yet exist on your customer's computer, then the font has to be downloaded before your text can be displayed. This impacts the time that your store takes to load.
7. Reduce the use of large-sized images and also compress images without losing the quality
8. Use minified CSS and JS files
9. Replace GIFs with static images
10. To reduce the initial load time, you can use Lazyload technique
11. Remove third-party JS scripts and Shopify App which you are no longer using
12. Minimize HTTP requests
13. Avoid unnecessary redirects and fix broken links

If your website takes longer than 3 seconds to load, 40% of your traffic will be lost. Apart from speeding up your store, for getting better conversions, make sure your store products are Found on Google. When your customers search on Google, your product can be found only if Google has indexed the page. Note that once a URL gets indexed, customers will start finding your store through organic searches, and you will start getting order conversions for virtually zero cost. Making it sustainable business growth. flareAI helps to get your new products found on Google. flareAI works every day for you. Hi @goappsplay1, thank you for visiting the Shopify Forum

Speed is critical for a good customer experience & to get more conversions. It also helps with Google Ranking. If you look at it from the Shopify dashboard you'd want a score at least over 50.Some tips to increase speed without getting into code include:

  • Reducing image size (you can use tinypng.com before uploading)
  • not using Page Builders (like Shogun)
  • Deleting unnecessary apps

To make it crazy fast we do need to get into code: to defer and async JS and CSS, remove old app code, minify files, setup lazy loading and more. We offer seven days delivery and unlimited revisions. Clients routinely see 2x to 3x store increase. Please contact us at info@madebylanzi.com to request this service

Happy Sales,

To make it easy, use the Shopify Analyzer to see what can and should be optimized. That's the one tool built specifically for Shopify sites (general tools like Google PSI do not work for sites where you don't have control over the server and all the apps).

There is some misleading information in this thread, like that you should score above 50 with the Shopify speed score (not true and not always possible. I've worked with enterprise level stores that score in the 20's. The score does not equal load speed or success in your store).

Tips from me (from Speed Boostr, we're a team of Shopify developers that focus on performance, contribute free guides and tools to the community, and have optimized over 1500+ Shopify sites):

1. Run your site through the Shopify Analyzer to see quick and clear recommendations for Shopify sites (in your case it looks like there is a problem with lazy loading, a common tactic for improved speed).

2. With your theme optimized, next look into app optimization. Here's a guide for that: https://speedboostr.com/app-optimization-guide-for-shopify. Analysis tools can't pick up all the factors of app optimization, you need a human to go through it.

3. Employ other tactics to help, like preloading (guide here: https://speedboostr.com/preloading).

Our guides are designed so you can employ the tactics in-house if you like. Or if you want to save the time then you can contact my team at speedboostr.com/contact for a free analysis.

I recommend doing what you can in-house, using the tool I shared + related guides, then hiring after you get the basics done.

If you need professional help, work with whoever you're comfortable with, just be careful about giving the previous poster "oscprofessional" access to your store. They've been caught stealing copyrighted material and breaking Shopify terms of service, it may be risky to allow access to a company with no ethics.

Hey there, it seems like your store is not built with Shopify. As far as we can detect, it is built with WordPress.

Cedcommerce_0-1649229662440.jpeg

Cedcommerce_1-1649229662484.jpeg

However, we suggest you the following things to increase your store’s speed -

  1. Remove apps that you are not using anymore as apps eat up a lot of space that ultimately hampers your store’s speed.
  2. See to it that your product images and videos are well-optimized.
  3. Install a caching plugin. Caching can make your WordPress site anywhere from 2x to 5x faster.
  4. Use a CDN (Content Display Network). A CDN network is made up of servers all around the world and each server stores static files used to make up your website. These static files include images, CSS & JavaScript. When you use a CDN, every time a user visits your website they are served those static files from whichever server is closest to them.
  5. Don’t upload audio/video files directly to WordPress.
  6. Use a lightweight theme that emphasizes speed.

These were some of the many ways to optimize your store’s speed. You can reach out to a WordPress developer for further enhancements.

Hope it helps!

Thank You,

Team CedCommerce.

I checked your site (https://goappsplay.com/) looks like it could use some speed improvements. Try compressing images, minifying CSS/JS, enabling browser caching, and using a CDN like Cloudflare. I also recommend checking your site on https://thecarbonfootprint.ai/ it gives great insights into both performance and environmental impact.

Also, keep an eye on heavy plugins or slow hosting, as they can really drag things down.
