How can I increase the speed of my website?

Hi Guys,

My site is clarkssmith.com

Site speed is 40 as of now sometimes it goes above 50 and below 35 too. depending on the changes I make sometimes. 

I have reduced the size of images too.

I want to improve the speed of my site. Please review my store and see what changes can I make? Help me to improve the site score. this would be really really helpful.

Thank you for the quick response. I have done a few steps already. I have gone through your article as well. Out of them. I haven't done Minify CSS and JS and also I don't know how to remove third-party JS scripts.

What i have do far is- 

Reduced the sizes of all images

Minimize the redirects

I had a lot of apps, I have installed the ones I was not using, and after that, after watching a few videos I have removed the codes which they left. I might have missed a few codes left by them as i am not very friendly with the codes.

I am using speed boosters too.

Hello,

You have no chance of getting higer than 40, because Shopify is not well ranked in it. That being said, a decently maid Shopîfy shop is around 30. Depends page, have fun, (using Google CDN not Amazon one)

I review your shop and I think need to reduced the size images more.

I think no more for 50-80KB per image to have good speed test.

But, reducing the size of the image up to that extent will make them lose the quality. If customers will zoom on the design of the product. that will leave a bad impression. If there is any other way for this, reduce the size of an image without losing the quality, let me know. I have used Tinypng to resize the images.
