Hi,I am wanting to deactivate my account but I am wanting to leave a msg for customers if they go to is. For example “website closed head to my Instagram for more details” Is there a way I can do this? Any other tips or recommendations when closing it would be great also.

I'd be more than happy to help you with your query. There is a way to achieve this.
You can temporarily password protect your store, which means that you temporarily stop visitors from accessing your store. Customers will be unable to access your site, view products or make purchases. When a customer does reach your site, they will see a message explaining why the store has been deactivated temporarily. You can learn how to achieve this right here at this link.
