How can I manage unique jewelry inventory with variant chain lengths affecting price?

I sell Jewelry but a lot of the pendants are one of a kind and offered at different lengths. 

How can I make it possible to choose what pendant you want and then choose what length of chain you want but the length of chain would determine the price of the necklace. The main issue is inventory because I only have one of each stone. Currently Shopify is joining them together allowing people to buy the one stone multiple times because it's grouped with each chain option. So I would like people to choose their pendant and then choose the length of chain with the length of chain determining the price of the necklace  but then that pendant no longer be in inventory.

Thank you for reaching out to the Community! I'm happy to provide some assistance with managing product options and variants, to get this resolved. Currently products are limited to a maximum of three options (i.e size, color, finish, etc) and up to 100 variants and/or combinations. Due to this, I recommend checking out the Shopify App Store for an available app that can help resolve this issue and provide more customization. For ease I've gone ahead and suggested a few product option apps below that you can look into:

• Bold Product Options
