How can I perform a basket analysis on first-time customer orders?

I'm trying to do a basket analysis on customer first orders. I can export order line data from Shopify and perform a basket analysis with this data, however I don't think I can filter by first order. Without a filter, I figure that my options are either to get the data through a Shopify app, or somehow manipulate the data in Excel. I could hypothetically export all orders, and create a column that shows order number per customer, but I'm not really sure how to do this. There's the added complexity that the data is grouped by line item.

Is there an easier way to do a basket analysis on first orders? Is there a way to do this in Shopify that I am not seeing? Is there an app I can use which is comprehensive but not too expensive?

In addition to the first order export, is there an existing basket analysis template we could run off this data set? 

We could pair the export with the Shopify order line export, and vlookup order number. Just wondering if there are any pre-existing reports to make it cleaner and provide more insight.

Same question as above. Would we have to export the data and look up the order line data in Shopify, or are there pre-existing basket analysis reports that we could run on the first order data set to provide more insight?
