How can I recover lost authentication codes for my admin account?

My store is up and running , but I’m unable to log into my admin account on my desktop, because I’ve lost my authentication codes! I could really use some help to solve this issue immediately!

I am sorry to hear about the login issues! Due to the sensitive exchange of information, we're unable to authenticate merchants within the Shopify Community Forums. With that being said, you can reach directly out to our support to have this looked into further by attempting to log into your online store using our Contact Us page. This will allow us to securely verify you as the store owner.

 

Once you successfully login, or select the option to Continue without logging in - you will be directed to the Help Center. Select the topic that you would like assistance with to locate the options to Get Support and speak with a Support Advisor about the situation.

Hello Ollie,

     About a month ago I had damage to my computer so now I don't have my authorization or recovery codes because they did not save in my drive. I don't know how else to get into my account. It's super frustrating because I can see that I have an order placed that needs to be sent out to a customer asap. I've reached out to customer support but to no avail. They gave me a ticket number but the problem has not been resolved. Is there any other way to get into my account? If you could please help me, I'd greatly appreciate it.

In this case, you have received a ticket number from our support team that would mean the matter is being looked into as we speak. Since I am unable to verify you as the store owner over the Community forums, I am unable to look into your account specifics. My suggestion would be to reach out to our live support and inform the Support Advisor of the ticket number you have received. They should be able to provide you with an update on the situation.

 

You can reach out to our support and speak with an Advisor by navigating to our Contact Us page and selecting Continue without logging in - this will direct you to the Help Center. Select the topic that you would like assistance with to locate the options to Get Support and speak directly with a Support Advisor.
