I have been trying to update my credit card information due to notice from Shopify that they were trying to charge cc! But it would never allow me update it - so I guess I have accidentally removed myself from any access to this account! I had to set up another account just to be able send this message! At this point I need to close my account if I can’t even access so I am not charged a monthly amount! Any suggestions as how to get into my first account?

In this situation you will want to reach out to our live support for further help. I know that you may not have access to your main account so you will want to choose "Continue without an account" when asked to sign in.
Please follow this link: Shopify Help Center. Continue without signing in, choose the closest topic and issue and at the bottom of the help articles provided will be all available live support options.
