How can I remove the country currency selector in the motion theme?

Hello everyone,

I would like to remove the block that shows "country currency selector" below the footer on the motion theme
Unfortunately, I'm not able to locate the code.:

<select id="country_code" class="locale-selectors__selector" name="country_code"> 

The currency options on the theme editor are currently unchecked.


I would appreciate any assistance regarding this matter.

You need to modify the theme code. Even if the currency options are unchecked in the theme editor, the selector might still be rendered by the theme's template files.

Backup Your Theme

• Go to your Shopify admin panel.
• Navigate to Online Store > Themes.
• Find your current theme and click on Actions > Duplicate.

Edit the Theme Code

Now, let's locate and remove the code responsible for rendering the currency selector.

1. In the Shopify admin panel, go to Online Store > Themes.
2. Find your current theme and click on Actions > Edit code.
   
   

Check Footer. liquid or theme. liquid or global.js or similar JavaScript files: Sometimes, the currency selector can be dynamically inserted via JavaScript.

and remove Currency Selector-related code. After making the changes, save the file.

Go back to your store's front end. Refresh the page to ensure that the currency selector is no longer displayed.
