Can you confirm if you are trying to renew a domain that you purchased on Shopify? If you have a domain managed by Shopify, then you have the option to enable automatic renewal of your domain in your Shopify admin. This ensures that you maintain ownership of your domain and it doesn't expire. 

Also, by default the account owner email address is used to purchase and renew domains, so it's important to keep your email address up to date so that you receive notifications about your domain subscription, including renewal warnings and notices.

Is it possible that your domain has expired, and you are having difficulty renewing it yourself? If your domain has expired and you wish to continue using it, you have a 40-day grace period to contact our support team to renew it - you cannot renew an expired domain on your own. After this grace period it may still be possible to renew it during the 30-day redemption period, but there can be extra costs involved. Once you have completed the renewal process, your domain will be renewed for the selected period of time. It's important to note that if you do not renew your domain before it expires, you may lose ownership of the domain and it may become available for others to register. Enabling automatic domain renewal as previously mentioned is a good idea to ensure this doesn't happen.
