Hi! I have an issue on one of my pages. I'm unable to translate it in Langify, where I receive the error message that there is "an invalid HTML structure in the content". Langify responded simply that I have to "get rid of the HTML flaws to fix this error".
I have stripped html on that page by removing all text and pictures, pasting onto an "html strip document" and then back again. It didn't work. I've also cleared cache on my computer, didn't help either.
Does anyone have a suggestion for a solution? I'd be so thankful!
(I've chatted with Shopify support, they couldn't help).
can you let me know the page address
Hi @Caroline_M,
I've just checked the related ticket (156749) and am sorry for the bad support you've gotten from our support team in this case. I'll make sure to bring it up with Johannes at the next occasion.
In such cases, we usually recommend hovering over the arrow between the editors and then clicking on "Import content from original" which will copy everything (including your original content and original HTML structure) from the left side to the right side.
After that, you'd have to add your translations to the right side without affecting the HTML structure.
I went ahead and enabled the new v2 editor for you which should prevent this issue from occurring again. In case there should be any issues with this or anything else related to Langify just let us know at [email protected]
