Somewhere along the way I have deleted default "News" for blogs and I am looking for how to fix it so my blogs show up properly on my pages. I am using Studio and my website is https://craftyroseanne.myshopify.com/

Thank you,

Hello, @Craftyroseanne I'm Garcia, from the PageFly team.
I'm sorry to share that unfortunately, Shopify default "News" blog not possible to restore. Once deleted, it's gone for good. You will need to re-create the Blog.

However, a Conversion rate expert, scrolling through your site, I came up with a few suggestions on how we can improve our sales, in case you need it:

1. Minimize the height of the header to ensure a more compact and user-friendly design. A header that takes up too much vertical space can create a poor user experience.

  • The concept of Above-the-fold, it's truly important. As it is the first place that visitors see when they land on your website and spend the most time, causing the most attention.
  • On smaller screens, such as those of mobile devices, a tall header can occupy a significant portion of the initial viewport, pushing the main content further down. This can be particularly problematic for mobile users who may not be patient enough to scroll extensively.
  • If there's a promotional banner within hero section, a large header might push it down or make it less prominent. This can impact the visibility and effectiveness of any call-to-action buttons or messages you want users to notice and act upon.

2. Use another format of Headline

  • A distinct font for headlines helps create a clear visual hierarchy on the webpage. Using a different font can make it stand out, guiding users to focus on important messages or key information. This differentiation makes it easier for users to scan and quickly grasp the main points without getting overwhelmed by a uniform text style
  • Serif font is not good enough for small text as Product description, which is too bad for readability, especially on mobile view

3. Use another color scheme for CTA Button:

Low-contrast design can present accessibility issues, making it difficult for users with visual impairments or other disabilities to engage with your website.

4. You can optimize page by restructuring the outline of the Homepage:

  • Hero Banner: You attached the promotion here, good idea, but it need to be redesign aligned to the ABOVE-THE-FOLD definition, shorter height, dynamic countdown timer, add CTA button
  • Featured productPageFlyGarcia_1-1699609867620.png
  • Benefits bar
  • Shop by Occasion/ Product List: Sections or categories representing different occasions (e.g., Birthday, Anniversary, Thank You).
  • Testimonial: Showcase photos and stories of customers using your handmade cards
  • Social Media Integration: Social media icons linking to your profiles for users to stay connected. Perhaps include a feed of your latest social media posts.

Hope it helps you a bit,
Garcia

Your blog appears to be showing in your store. If the posts are not, it is most likely due to having the wrong blog or page template assigned, change them in the posts settings like so to be part of the blog that is visible here:
