How can I set a fixed, pre-defined shipping address for customers?

I am currently looking for a solution where customers can pick a shipping address from a pre-defined list. In the checkout, the shipping address then has to be read-only and can not be changed.

Any idea how to approach that? I thought about setting the shipping address via the StoreFront API on checkout and having a code implemented in the Checkout in order to have the fields read-only.
