How can I sort out of stock items last on a collections page?

Hi.

Is there an easy way to sort out of stock item last, in for example collections page? I am new to shopify so i have no clue, but it should be logically an easy task. Appreciate all the help I can get.

It is impossible. You can just sort manually in collection admin. Refer https://help.shopify.com/en/manual/products/collections/automated-collections/auto-create and https://help.shopify.com/en/manual/products/collections/collection-layout

Great solution for people with 100 products to manage. I got 100 collections, some collections with 1,000 products. How would anybody manage that manually?

There has to be a simple code solution or just a sitewide setting you click in admin. This is crazy that it's this difficult.

For Collections:

Its very simple to put Sold Out Product(s) Last On The Collection. On admin panel, on collection page simple use the Sort Filter: Manually to reorder the products in collection in whatever order you want. Simply drag the Sold Out Products to the last. Enjoy!
