bur after importing the product CSV file into Shopify, products Images, Category(Collection), Inventory (Inventory not Tracked) are not migrated and Customer addresses are not inserted in records, only some customers addresses are migrated,

I have uploaded a CSV file exported from Magento, so should I need to change to those CSV files? and the import into Shopify...?

@rushikesh93
Check your CSV file what data are exported from the Magento.
if it is all data from your magento store then, you can see the CSV data into your Shopify Store.

Hello Rushikesh93,

You can check out several migrator apps that are listed on the Shopify app store to get all your Magento products and customers migrated on Shopify in bulk without the need for any CSV. One of the apps which I can suggest to you as per your need is the migrator app using which you can get the job done very easily. You can check out and test the apps best suitable for you.

I hope it will be helpful for you!!

Migrating from Magento to Shopify can sometimes require additional steps to ensure that all data, including product images, categories (collections), inventory, and customer addresses, are successfully transferred. Here are some troubleshooting steps you can take to address the missing data:

  1. Product Images: Ensure that the product image URLs in the CSV file are accessible and valid. Shopify imports product images from URLs specified in the CSV file. If the image URLs are incorrect or inaccessible, Shopify may not be able to fetch the images. Double-check the image URLs in the CSV file and verify that they are publicly accessible.

  2. Category (Collection) Migration: Shopify uses collections to organize products. Make sure that the category information from Magento is correctly mapped to Shopify collections during the import process. Verify that the collections are created and assigned to the products accordingly.

  3. Inventory (Inventory Not Tracked): Check if the inventory management settings in Shopify are set up correctly. For products with inventory not tracked, ensure that the inventory settings are adjusted accordingly in Shopify. This setting allows you to sell products without tracking inventory levels.

  4. Customer Addresses: For customer addresses not being imported, review the CSV file and check for any formatting issues or missing data. Ensure that the CSV file contains complete and accurate customer address information. Shopify requires specific address fields to be present in the CSV file for successful import.

  5. Verify CSV Format: Double-check the CSV file format and structure to ensure it complies with Shopify's import requirements. Ensure that each data field is correctly mapped to the corresponding Shopify field during the import process.

If you continue to experience issues with the data migration, consider using Cart2Cart, a data migration service that specializes in transferring e-commerce data between various platforms. Hi,
After migrating products and customers from Magento to Shopify, if you're facing issues with product images, categories, and inventory, ensure that the image paths in the Magento CSV file are accessible with URLs, verify correct category mapping during the import, and check inventory columns alignment.
For customer addresses, confirm the CSV format complies with Shopify's standards, and consider testing a subset of data before a full import. If problems persist, reach out to Shopify support for platform-specific guidance and assistance tailored to your situation.
