How can I switch a discount code type for our Black Friday sale?

Hi! I have a promotion going for our ambassador where their specific code is changing from a 20% off code to a buy X get Y. When I try to edit their code, there is no place to change the discount type. I tried to deactivate this code and create a new one but I can't do that unless I delete the code and restar

Can you direct me on how to change this so I can get them switched over for our Black Friday sale?
