Hello @Statsworldwide
If you want to make a specific page on your Shopify store inaccessible or "unpublished" while keeping the rest of the store live, you can follow these steps:
Access your Shopify admin: Log in to your Shopify account and navigate to your store's admin dashboard.
Go to the Pages section: From the admin dashboard, click on "Online Store" in the left-hand sidebar, and then select "Pages."
Locate the page to be unpublished: Find the specific page you want to make unavailable to the public in the list of pages.
Edit the page: Click on the page title to open the page editor.
Change the page status: In the page editor, locate the "Visibility" section or "Page Availability" settings. Look for an option that allows you to control the page's visibility.
Set the page to "Unpublished" or "Hidden": Depending on the Shopify theme or page editor interface, you may find options like "Published," "Visible," or "Online." Switch the status to "Unpublished" or "Hidden" to make the page inaccessible to visitors.
Save the changes: Once you've set the page status to "Unpublished" or "Hidden," click on the "Save" or "Update" button to save the changes.
After following these steps, the specific page you selected will no longer be accessible to visitors on your Shopify store. The rest of your store's pages and content will remain live and accessible. You can revisit the page editor and change the status back to "Published" or "Visible" to make the page available to the public again.
Please note that the exact steps may vary slightly depending on your Shopify theme and version.
Hi there, @Statsworldwide!
You can “unpublish” your store, by replacing the storefront with what we call a Password page. This means that only a person with the relevant password can access your store, and it also means you can input whatever message you wish on this as your landing page for example something like "We'll be back soon!". You can read here on how exactly to do this.
Can I ask why you are hoping to stop your store being live at the moment? I trust this helps, thanks!
