Discuss and resolve questions on Liquid, JavaScript, themes, sales channels, and site speed enhancements.
We have a non-ecommerce website where we are selling our products currently offline via email and phone. We want to add ecommerce to our existing website to start selling our products online. Our products are software only and we sell less than 25 different products.
Our current website is a Bootstrap base with lots of custom css and javascript widgets (we promote dashboarding software). So, we are not using any gui to build our current website.
In other words, is there a straightforward way to build out our current site using the shopify API? Or, it is straightforward to add custom css & javascript to a new Shopify template?
Thanks,
-Ian
First of shopify is a good fit. All you need to do is use the theme editor and hide the add to cart buttons.
Not really sure what the custom css and js is and if you really need it. more context would help.
