How can I uninstall the Online Store app from Shopify without triggering an error?

I want to use Shopify on multiple existing WordPress sites using different Buy Buttons since I don't like WooCommerce. To make this work seamlessly I need to remove my Online Store app so links during checkout don't refer customers to a blank Shopify site. However, there is a massive bug on Shopify's end when you try to uninstall the app. My previous account was a Basic plan and when you would try to remove it the site is still coded to have that trigger a downgrade to the Lite plan and notified you as sure. The program is that the Lite plan no longer exists and it throws out an error. The back office team tried to switch me and wasn't able to. They weren't any help. My only solution was to start a new account under a Starter plan. I did but found it created an Online store for me too. I try to uninstall it again and same error. Fix your site Shopify!!!!!! I just want to be able to use your service on my existing sites. It shouldn't be this difficult for one of the top e-commerce platforms.
