How can I unlink a domain from a closed store?

My plan expired to one of my stores, it also took the domain with it. Is there a way to unlink the domain. Domain name is drew78787.com

You must log back into your store to transfer your domain to a new store or hosting site. Did you purchase your domain from Shopify or a third-party hosting site?

I’m pretty sure I got it from a third party, I saw on other posts on Shopify that you could unlink the domain. It isn’t possible for me to access the store because the plan expired, is there any way for you or me to unlink the domain without renewing the plan.

You should contact the customer support team of the hosting service you used to host the domain, explain the situation and see if they can assist you in unlinking the domain from Shopify. If you need access to the domain's DNS settings within Shopify, you will need to purchase a plan and transfer your domain out of Shopify.
