Hi,
I am trying to use a specific custom font from Adobe: https://fonts.adobe.com/fonts/futura-pt, in my email notifications. However, I can not seem to figure out how to import it to the email notification.
I have tried linking the url the <head>-section, but this doesn't solve the problem.
Is there anyone here that are able to help with this?
Best regards
Hi, @fgarriktoni.
Thank you for reaching out and posting this question!
You can add custom fonts to your store using CCS (Cascading Style Sheets), which will involve referencing the font through a third-party's hosting or by uploading the font files to the Shopify admin. However, if you're not comfortable working with coding languages, then you may want to consider hiring a developer to assist you with this method. If you need help finding a developer for your store, then I'd recommend taking a look at our directory of certified developers on Shopify Experts.
There are also third-party fonts apps, like Fontify, or page building apps, like Shogun, which allow you to access their selection of fonts. However, this method applies to the theme and not necessarily to the fonts in the Shopify admin. If you'd like to explore more options, then I'd also recommend taking a look at this third-party guide - 'How to Edit & Customize Fonts on Shopify to Make Your Store Look Just Right.' This guide offers several options for adding fonts to the theme and to the Shopify admin, which also includes images and step-by-step instructions.

Hi Elias,
Thanks for taking your time.
I already installed custom fonts to my store, however I can't seem to figure it out how to refer to them in the CSS part of my e-mail notifications. I am using Klaviyo to build my e-mail templates and I succeeded in importing my custom fonts there, but when I export the HTML-code to the email notification page in my Shopify store, the font seems to change to a fallback font.
Was is the best way to import the font locally in the CSS part of my email notifications? e.g. order confirmation
Hi, @fgarriktoni.
Thank you for following up and sharing this update!
Since you've imported the custom fonts onto Klaviyo and exported it as an HTML, then it's possible that the font hasn't been uploaded onto your Shopify admin. Did you get a chance to upload the font to the Files section of the Shopify admin?
If so and it's still not working, then you may need to explore adding the font using CSS. However, as I am not a developer, I'd encourage seeing if the community can assist you from the following thread: Email Notifications - How Can I Change The Font?. That being said, if you're not comfortable working with coding languages, then you can also consider hiring a developer to assist you with this task. If you need help finding a developer, then please take a look at our directory of certified developers on Shopify Experts.
If you have any other questions, don't hesitate to let me know!
