How can we boost our website speed in the US?

After checking our website with the tool

we noticed that the webside speed in the US is much slower than in Europe.

How to speed up and improve US performance?

Is it actually slower though? Has anybody said anything? How long does your site take to load? You can't trust scanner tools, not the least because they're probably trying to sell you something. Like services to "speed up" your store. Many of these services use scripts that trick speed scanners into showing false numbers, and even ones that are real may cost a lot for only a couple milliseconds of gain.

Unless you can actually see that your store is actually slow and you're getting complaints, then focus on making money instead 🙂

@UB17 : Our experience of more then 100 site optimization  is that Shopify sites are fast across the world as they use CDN to minimize hop times.

You shall hit the tool 3 to 4 times and then check the score as there is a probability that due to lesser traffic from US the edge servers of Shopify CDN might not be having the needed assets so its resulting in lower speed.

Additionally we recommend to reduce request and payload size( above fold payload is important ) using optimization tricks.

Also do contact shopify support on this. Probably they will suggest plan upgrade as the IP class used for higher classes result in faster DNS resolution.

Quick point of clarification, plan upgrades absolutely do not provide faster speeds. Checking for support's opinion on ways to optimize is good but they would not recommend paying more as a means of making a site faster.
