How can we create dynamic, interchangeable homepages using the same theme?

Hi, looking for some advice here. 

We want to create two different homepages – one for our commercial customers and another for our residential ones.

We're thinking of adding buttons to the mega menu that let people easily switch between these pages.

We want to keep the overall theme the same, so basically, we're trying to figure out the best way to "duplicate" our homepage and customize it for each group. 

Kindly see an example below that we've seen online:

💣Merchants cannot control the path names for the shopify online sales channel. i.e. no hompage.com/commercial or path nesting like commercial/organizations/org-name/; it's either /pages/page-name , or collections/collection-name or /products/product-name

Hi @proactiveparks  aside from using a landing page service this is an advanced theme customization with several approaches.

One is using alternate layouts https://www.shopify.com/partners/blog/84342470-the-power-of-alternate-layout-files-in-shopify-theme-...

https://shopify.dev/docs/storefronts/themes/architecture/layouts 

Another is using a literal second theme, unpublished, and using the preview_theme_id parameter in tandem with CSS to hide the preview bar.

This will be less performant so probably the commercial theme should be the unpublished one.

The other is loading all sections/content and using a tab UI paradigm to show the content of one or the other.
