The preview (preheader) text of my abandoned cart email shows up in my inbox as raw HTML (see below) and I would like to know how to edit this, or at least remove the appearance of the HTML code.
I haven't found a way to do this by editing the email in notification settings. Any suggestions?

This often means there is a syntax error in your html , typically it's either an missing quote mark on an attribute, or an unclosed tag missing a closing greater than > or matching closing tag i.e. <h1></h1>
You could also take the html of the email and try to check it in an html validator to narrow down the cause
