I'm trying to deactivate my account, but I forgot my password what do I do?

Firstly, you should reset your forgotten password. You can follow these steps:
From the Shopify login page, enter your store address and click Next.
Enter your login email and click Next.
Click Forgot password?.
Enter the email that you used to create your Shopify account.
Click Reset password.
You're sent an email with a link to reset your password. In the email, click Reset password.
Enter your new password in the Confirm password field.
Click Reset password.
Go back to your Shopify login page and log in with your new password.
After you resetting the password, you can deactivate your store by following this way:
From your Shopify admin, go to Settings > Plan.
Click Deactivate store.
If applicable, review the options to switch to the Pause and build plan, or start a new store.
If you still want to deactivate, then click Deactivate store.
Select a reason for the deactivation, and then click Continue.
Enter your password, and then click Deactivate now.

@Anonymous 's instructions are exactly correct for both password reset and for closing your account once you have access.
