How do I disable the navigation drawer/bar that's auto sliding to show item category?

How can I disable the category list on the left side of my page as it auto-slides and obstructs the "My Account" section? Ideally, I'd like to be able to click or hover on the navigation to expand to show the category list and not auto-show or auto-slide from left to right.

Btw, I have a Refresh theme.

Please help.
