Hello @TrinaM51,
Search Engine Optimization (SEO) will help in improving the search engine ranking for your store and help customers find your products.
1. Add all relevant keywords (which customers use to find your store) wherever you can like in page titles, descriptions, and image alt text
2. Make sure that your URLs and file names match the content.
3. Make sure every page of your site is as few clicks from your homepage as possible.
4. The main keyword should used in the page title.
5. Add blogging
Apart from writing great content on your product landing pages, you should also leverage blogging to educate, inform, and engage your target audience.
6. Reduce thin content pages with long and unique product descriptions
In ecommerce SEO, Google and other search engines use the content on your page to decide which keywords to rank your page for and how high your page should rank for each keyword. If your product page has a short little description and not much else, Google doesn’t have a whole lot to go on. Copying and pasting a description from a manufacturer or supplier is called duplicate content and is also advised against. Writing a unique description with a lot of important detail can help improve the ranking of the product page and reduce thin content on your online store.
7. Optimize your Shopify product pages
There are lot of ways you can optimize your product pages. Some are add target keywords which customer will search for in your prodcut title, desctiption, image alt text etc.
8. Build links to your store
Backlinks are especially valuable for SEO because they represent a "vote of confidence" from one site to another. In essence, backlinks to your website are a signal to search engines that others vouch for your content.
Your ongoing SEO efforts can only work if the page is indexed (found) by Google. Unless your site (or store) is many years old and has very few products, there is no guarantee that all the pages you carefully SEO'ed are actually indexed (found) by Google. In fact, an overwhelming majority of the digital world is NOT indexed. flareAI shows you, with a Found on Google (FOG) report how much of your ever-changing site is un-indexed, hidden from Google searches. And, how flareAI automation can clear the FOG. flareAI also helps to get your new products found on Google, the world's largest FREE eCommerce sales channel
Hope this was helpful and wish you the best with your store.

Hi @TrinaM51
To set up SEO on Shopify, you need to pay attention to three aspects below at first.
1. Page Speed. Avoid using large size images or elements on websites, as it will increase the time of loading when users access your store. If your website has a fast loading speed, it will shorten the time of waiting and be good for your conversion rate meanwhile.
2. On-Page SEO. This can help you optimize page contents in a more structured way, so that Google can know and index your store easily. A good website should have individual and attractive page contents, so that they can be regarded as effective ones and have higher opportunity to be listed in higher ranks of the search result.
3. Use top keywords. You can find some top keywords from platforms like Google Trends and Ahrefs, and know what other stores use and think. In this way, you can make a research and add the useful keywords on the related web pages, to enhance the page performance and get a higher ranking.
