How do I set up variable shipping rates based on product price?

Hi,

I am unable to setup the shipping rate as per my below requirement.

When a customer buys a product whose price is equal or below $200 the shipping charges will be 50$ flat rate, and if product price is above $200 then shipping charges will be apply 25% of the selected products price.

Please let me know is this feature is available or not.

Thanks for reaching out in our Community forums and for sharing your concern, I’d be happy to help.

I understand that you're looking to implement a flat fee threshold shipping fee, as well as a percentage based threshold fee. The flat fee option is available natively  through the Shopify Admin, however, the percentage based shipping is currently not an option. With that being said, I have shared your feedback with our developers for future consideration as i definitely see the value in having percentage based shipping. 

There are a few alternatives to consider, like Priced-based rates. These rates are specific shipping amounts that you charge a customer based on their order. So in your case,  you would go to Add Rate > Set up your own rates > Type in $50 under price > Add conditions based on order price > Maximum price: $200. You would continue this process with different increments. You can also look to use Weight-based rates as they let you set the minimum and maximum weights that qualify an order for your flat shipping rates. We have a guide that goes into more detail here. 

If eligible, I can always suggest Shopify Shipping as you'll be able to display calculated shipping rates, instead of flat rates, to your customers at checkout. This means that you will be able to automatically calculate your shipping fees and charge the exact amount to your customers.
