How do I successfully add a collaborator on my ecommerce platform?

I am having trouble adding a collaborator.

  1. As far as I understand a collaborator can only be added if he requests access from me.  I cannot send a collaborator request to him, correct?
  2. I tried just adding him a STAFF member, but he said he didn't receive an email, and I had him check his spam folder, but it was not there either.

Please advise,

I understand that you are having issues adding a collaborator to your store. This is correct, after a Shopify Partner submits a request to access your store, you receive an email about the request and a notification on your Shopify Home. Feel free to refer to our Collaborator FAQ for more information. What type of issues are you having?


If your collaborator did not receive an email when you added them as staff, it's always a good idea to double check the spelling of the email. If you are still having issues, ask them for another email to input and see if that solves the error.
