How do I transfer my inactive domain out of an e-commerce platform?

I want to transfer my domain out of shopify. and it has been more than 6 months, i am not using my shopify and my store has been inactive and i am not able to transfer my domain and i am being instrucred to pay $1400 to login again. need the help to get my domain transfered out of shopify!!! early response will be appriciated!

I am Santanu from MS Web Designer (Top Rated Shopify Certified Experts and eCommerce Consultant from Singapore).

You need to rest your domain first from your provider, then you can connect to again the domain another website. My suggestion for the rest of the domain is you need to contact the domain support team.

I'd like to take a closer look at this situation with you, to see what we might be able to advise.

You mentioned there is an outstanding invoice you're being asked to pay in order to log back in to reactivate your Shopify store; is this something that was owed at the time you last used your store or are you not expecting this invoice?
