How long till Shopify changes the nameserver for my domain?

Hello,

I have changed the nameservers for my domain over 5 days ago, I'm trying to transfer my domain to Cloudflare. The nameservers are still pending. Could be any reason why it's taking that long or if there is anything needs to be done on Shopify to get the nameservers updated.

Just to confirm, have you gone through our transfer out domain help doc? This document outlines the steps to take to transfer your domain to a different provider. If you have, and your still waiting for it I recommend contacting our Support Team.

Hi Emily,

Yes, I went through all the steps, I changed the nameserver on my domain that I purchased through Shopify over a week ago, and new nameservers are still pending. I also checked https://lookup.icann.org/en/lookup my domain is still pointing at Shopify nameservers, not CloudFlare nameservers, where I want to transfer my domain.

Thank you for that additional information. 

Since you are trying to move the domain within the 90 days of purchasing it you will receive an error in the browser until that 90 days is up. You can find more information regarding that here: (https://shopify.link/mDWk).
