How to add a video that is over 10 minutes long

I would like to add a video to my website, but it is about 40 minutes, which is over the 10 minute time limit set for shopify. The file size does not exceed the limit, just the duration of the video.

Im not sure why there is a cap at 10 minutes. The video is actually the one thing I wanted to drive traffic to with my website. 

Is there a workaround for adding longer videos? I am using the Dawn theme.

 It's a fair limit as shopify is not a video hosting/streaming service, nor a file distribution service.

Simplest workaround is to split the video into multiple files then workaround customizing the theme to auto advanced a playlist of videos. Note the difference between autoplay and auto-advanced, avoid playing video w/ sound automatically without user interaction.

Otherwise use a dedicated video service like youtube or vimeo.
