How to add breadcrumbs navigation to Dawn Theme

I want to add a breadcrumbs navigation menu in the Dawn Theme. I have tried an option that has allowed me to add breadcrumbs to my store, however, it only shows "home > product". 

How do I add multiple "categories" to the breadcrumbs navigation on the Dawn Theme? 

For example: Home > Categories > Furniture > Living Room > Armchairs > Product
