How to add products to a PO when the products are not yet Active (not ready to launch)?

For a Shopify store using stocky, we want to use Stocky to create Purchase Orders and add products that are NOT YET ACTIVE on our site. How do you create POs to order seasonal products that are not yet launched to be live. THe products are in DRAFT status on Shopify. Only products that are ACTIVE on the Online Store are visible in Stocky to add to a PO.

I found this article on hiding products using a tagged collection.  I think this might be a workaround to make products Active in the OnlineStore, but hidden from view on the online store until the products are ready for official launch.   https://community.shopify.com/c/shopify-discussions/how-to-hide-items-from-shop-all-section/m-p/2181...
