How to adjust the contact form’s delivery settings to always route your messages to Google’s servers

I recently changed to Google Workspace as my email provider and now the contact form has stopped working. According to their help https://support.google.com/a/answer/55299 I need to contact shopify to sort the issue out. Any help here would be greatly appreciated.
