HOW TO Change PAYPAL(BUY IT NOW) BUTTON TO PRE-ORDER NOW

Hello, please I am not using Shopify Payments on my store.

I wanted to change BUY IT NOW button on the Product pages to PRE-ORDER IT NOW.

The BUY IT NOW button changed to PAYPAL button when I installed PAYPAL 

But I want it to show PRE-ORDER IT NOW instead 

The code I saw in this community has Shopify Payments in it 

When I added it, the button keep fluctuating between showing PRE-ORDER IT NOW and PAYPAL.

Please what code can I add to make the PRE-ORDER IT NOW permanent without showing PAYPAL button at all.
