How to create conditional variants in admin without using external app?

I have a very simple task but somehow have been struggling to find an answer for more than a month. I have 3 sizes of coffee that I'm offering (250 gr, 1 kg and capsules) and i need to show grind options (below bulletpoints) for 250gr, and not show it for 1kg and capsules. The price is also different for 250gr, 1kg and capsules but the grind options don't influence the price.

• Cafetiere/Frenchpress

• Aeropress

• Filter

• Espresso/Moka pot

It sounds insanely easy and straight forward but shopify admin doesn't allow conditional variants, so if i add grind options i have to apply them to every size option. if i use external apps that help manage variants - I'm running into a problem of 1) infinite options app doesn't allow price variation 2) APO app and bold options also have issues but most importantly shopify customer support team confirmed there can be issues if doubling variants both in shopify admin and third-party apps so i'm not even sure if using an app to manage variants is a good idea.

Can someone help me sort this out please? 😞 i don't know if utilising chat gpt to apply custom code is the best solution to avoid third party apps at all maybe
